

Kryn Ambs (she/her) is a Mission Integration, Operations, and Training Engineer at Axiom Space, where she contributes to building and testing the next-generation AxEVAS Spacesuit and Lunar Terrain Vehicle for Artemis. She has also served as a Payload Mission Manager and Project Manager, supporting private astronaut missions by integrating experiments, training crews, and working in mission control.
A 2018 Brooke Owens Fellow, Kryn trained in flight operations on the Stratolaunch aircraft and has since continued to advance in the commercial space sector. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Aviation and Spaceflight Operations & Human Factors, along with a graduate certificate in Commercial Space Studies.
Kryn is passionate about connecting space exploration with sustainability on Earth. She volunteers with organizations including the Brooke Owens Fellowship, Space Generation Advisory Council, Space for Humanity, and Universal Inclusion, working to make space more inclusive, sustainable, and accessible.
