Universal Inclusion Aerospace Scholarship

Layered Rock Pattern

The first of its kind, this scholarship supports individuals who have historically faced or currently face barriers to entering the aerospace and space-related fields due to limited access, systemic inequities, or underrepresentation in the industry. Open to both undergraduate and graduate students in any major at accredited universities worldwide. By fostering equity and opportunity, the scholarship empowers the next generation of aerospace leaders to pursue their ambitions and contribute to a more inclusive future in space.

Requirements

1) Open to students who have historically or currently face barriers to the aerospace field.​

2) Studying any major with intention to enter into the aerospace field.

​

3) Bachelors/Grad students studying at any accredited university/college.

Eligible Applicants include but is not limited to the following:

  • Individuals from underrepresented racial, ethnic, or cultural communities

  • Applicants from low-income or resource-constrained backgrounds

  • First-generation college students or professionals

  • Individuals from regions with limited access to aerospace education, infrastructure, or mentorship

  • People with disabilities

  • Women and gender-diverse individuals 

  • Applicants from rural, remote, or underserved communities

  • Individuals from emerging or nontraditional aerospace markets

How to Apply

Q: When is the 2026 scholarship application open and closed?

​A: Applications Open Feb 2026 and close June 2026. Winners will be announced July, 2026.

Q: How much is the 2025 scholarship amount?

​

​A: It is currently $2,000 USD. However, we aim for it to increase as donations come in.

Q: How do I know if I come from an underrepresented community?

​

​A: Consult the eligible applicants list above. If in doubt feel free to reach out at info@universalinclusion.org. We are happy to discuss with you.

Q: Do I have to have a STEAM or STEM background or studying a specific program to apply?

​

​A: No, you can be studying any program in an accredited university, college, or technical institute.

Q: What year of university do I need to be in to qualify?

​

​A: You must be in or planning to attend a post secondary institution in the following 12 months and have an official acceptance letter from your institution indicating that you are accepted and attending.

Q: Do I need to be attending a US university to qualify?

​

​A: No, you can be attending any university, college, or technical institute in the world as long as it is accredited in the country it is in.

Q: Is there a minimum or maximum age to qualify?

​

​A: No, you can apply at any age.

Q: Do I have to have a public social media account to qualify? 

​

​A: Yes, you will need am open profile so that we can view your response video. However, you can make a new account in order to do so. 

Q: Why do you repost submission videos online? 

​

​A: We want to show the many different stories and dreams of those wanting to enter into the space industry. We hope this will inspire others to join, our donors to contribute to the cause, and also show industry how much passion and diversity is available to them in the future workforce.
