The deadline to apply is Dec 31, 2024.

How much time will I need to dedicate to the mentorship?

You can expect to spend around 20 hours per week of study, connection, and hands on learning.

How long is the mentorship?

The mentorship will be roughly 6 months in length.

What if I don't have access to the internet or a computer?

If technology is a barrier to participation in this program, Universal Inclusion offers computer lending and possibly a stipend for internet for the duration of the mentorship.

What countries are eligible?

We welcome mentees from anywhere in the world and urge those with little or no educational or work experience to apply.

What's the minimum and maximum age to apply

Mentees must be 18 years of age to participate in the mentorship. There is no maximum age and we recognize the importance of mentorship opportunities for those later in life.

What if I don't know anything about the space industry?

That is absolutely fine! As long as you have an enthusiasm to learn new things. We have modules to help catch you up to be in the know about industry.

What if I have a non-science (STEAM) education or experience?

That is perfect! We know that the space industry is going to need individuals from all backgrounds. Particularly design, social media, PR, human resources, administration specialities.

What if I don't have any formal education?

We will assess the type of training you will need to specialize in your niche of interest. Hands on experience may be enough to get your foot in the door. Or we may guide you through some upgrading and online courses outside of the mentorship.

Are there any hidden costs?

Just your time! The mentorship program is totally free.

How many people are chosen each year?

That depends on the fiscal support we receive from donors and our partners. However, in 2024 we plan to take between 2-6 individuals.

Do I have to speak English?

No! We can use translation technology to run the mentorship. The number of international space companies and agencies outside of the USA are growing. However, we encourage mentees to grow their English language skills to support collaboration and connection in industry.

Is it a guarantee I'll get a job after the mentorship?

No, we can't guarantee a job after the mentorship. However, we do everything we can to help increase your odds of entering into industry.
